Design right
Intellectual property protection for the visual appearance of a product — its lines, contours, colors, shape, and ornamentation.
Expiry date (design)
The end date of a registered design's protection. Design rights run for a fixed maximum term and need periodic renewal.
Maintenance fee (design)
The fee paid to renew a registered design and keep it in force for the next protection period.
